Marvin is our other dog. He is a mix of something or other and is approximately 3 years old. He joined our family a few months ago from the same shelter where we got Leela. He is tiny and a big change for me; I grew up with big dogs. Marvin was once loved by a family, but ended up spending several months living in a bathroom as his owner fell into a deep depression and eventually committed suicide. When he was rescued, he looked like an unruly mop.
Marvin weighs nine tiny pounds. He is the opposite of Leela – he is brave, loves to ride in the car, and holds his own in the house. Sadly, Marv is a bad dog. He doesn’t listen at all, likes to make messes, and thinks he can get away with anything just by rolling over and having us rub his belly.
