F = Five x Five x Fun

FYou know how you always hear a question like, “What famous people living or dead would you invite to dinner?” I think those are fun, but I can never narrow my list down. There are just too many interesting people out there. So today, sponsored by the letter F, I am going to give you five lists of five people or characters I would like to invite to dinner. I tried to take into account not just who I would like to talk with, but how the whole group would get along after a couple of bottles of wine.

Five Book Characters
1. Hermione Grainger (Harry Potter)
2. Jo March (Little Women)
3. Ford Prefect (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy)
4. Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing)
5. Lizzie Bennet (Pride and Prejudice)
Well, I clearly have a “type.” Don’t you think Ford Prefect would just be giddy to be at this table?

Five Authors
1. Edgar Allen Poe
2. John Green
3. Sylvia Plath
4. Mary Roach
5. H. G. Wells
John Green would be able to bring Hank Green as his +1, of course. It is my list and what I say goes.

Five Living Celebrities
1. Kenneth Braunagh
2. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
3. Judi Dench
4. Woody Harrelson
5. Emma Stone

Five Deceased Celebrities
1. Katharine Hepburn
2. Mary Pickford
3. Jim Morrison
4. Philip Seymour Hoffman
5. Mollie Sugden

Five Historical Figures
1. Eleanor Roosevelt
2. Elizabeth I
3. James Garfield
4. Charles Darwin
5. Susan B. Anthony
I considered just making the list say “Eleanor Roosevelt” five times. She is my hero.
